1.8 Technical Setup

The process of setting up Jira has been well documented and we will only focus on specific topics here that are especially relevant for a pilot system in an enterprise environment.

Integrating the Pilot System with LDAP
Additionally on the systems side, you might want to consider integrating the pilot with your LDAP system which would be only the Download version of Jira. You could create an LDAP group for the participating team members or specify each user to be added manually in the integration parameters. Please refer to the LDAP documentation for more information.
