This change log aims to give you an overview of what's changed since our last Long Term Support release. As 10.2 is our newest Long Term Support release for Confluence, we'll give you a round up of everything that's happened since the last Long Term Support release, Confluence 9.2.


About Long Term Support releases
We recommend upgrading Confluence regularly, however if your organisation's process means you only upgrade about once a year, upgrading to a Long Term Support release may be a good option as it provides continued access to critical security, stability, data integrity and performance issues until this version reaches end of life. 

LTS upgrade may require downtime

When upgrading from a previous Long Term Support version, such as Confluence 8.5 or 9.2, your upgrade path will include the Confluence 10.0 Platform release, which contains breaking changes and requires downtime. Make sure you've read the release and technical upgrade notes for each version before upgrading. See more info and links below.
