So what can you expect from Confluence 9.2? We've been focused on raising the already high bar we’ve set for quality, stability, security, and performance, and have tackled some particularly high-impact bugs to make sure Confluence 9.2 is the best it can be.

Performance benchmarking report

For: ADMINS

We’re running comprehensive performance testing to compare our Long Term Support releases to see how the recent changes have affected Confluence, and to make sure we’re not introducing any performance regressions. Long Term Support releases are always a number of versions apart so changes in performance are much more visible than between smaller, feature releases.

The report is currently in progress and we’ll be sharing it with you as soon as it’s ready.

Refine your license limit health check alerts from the UI

For: ADMINS

You can now configure your license limit health check directly from the UI. Change the percentage, or switch to a finite number of seats — you’re in control.

Coming soon - Gadgets as a marketplace app

For: ADMINS END USERS

Gadgets were removed in Confluence 9.0, and we are bringing it back to re-enable integration between Confluence and Jira. This functionality will be available in a marketplace app soon.

We’re hard at work making sure the app is up to our standards before we make it available for general use. We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.

Coming soon - Storage Format Source Editor app for Confluence (previously Source Editor)

For: ADMINS

The Source Editor app is now called the Storage Format Source Editor app, and it will be compatible with Confluence Data Center.

Administrators are only recommended to use this app in troubleshooting and technical support scenarios. This app is not intended for regular, day-to-day use.

We're still working on the app and we'll make it generally available as soon as it's ready.
