Release Notices

Upgrading from a previous version of Confluence should be fairly straightforward. Please read the Confluence 4.1.4 Upgrade Notes. We strongly recommend that you back up your confluence.home directory and database before upgrading.

If your version of Confluence is earlier than 3.5.x, then you should upgrade to Confluence 3.5.x before upgrading to Confluence 4.1.x.

Just surprised: I was expecting a long long list of fixed bugs... Where are they? Why should I update because of this "small" improvement?

      Hi Sven,

We've fixed quite a few issues during this iteration that affect our OnDemand customers, but not those behind the firewall (so they aren't included above). We've adopted a strategy of releasing bug fix releases on a frequent basis, and encourage you to upgrade if there are any issues that have been dealt with that affect your instance: otherwise, feel free to hold off until the next bug fix release.

        Hi Nabeelah,

thanks a lot for clarification. No problem, I was just surprised (wink)

Yes, I'll hold off until a future release...

        Keep on creating amazing software!
