Label templates

Printing Labels has been completely redesigned:

  • There is a new tab under Object Schema configuration, where you now create your own label templates, with the option to use placeholders and images.
  • To print, select the template you want to use in Bulk Actions - Print Labels.

Filter objects by IQL

Possibility to use IQL when filtering objects. Simply press advanced in the filter view and enter the IQL and filter the issues.

Toggling between Basic and Advanced search translates the filter if possible.

Object type attribute changes

  • New default type attribute "Select" where you may add options to be selected on objects
  • Attribute of type "Object" now support IQL so you may filter the objects to be selected. This also validates the input (for REST-API integrators)
  • General UI improvements on the configuration screen

Insight custom fields

When using normal Insight custom fields in combination with referenced fields, we now only remove the depending objects in the child custom fields that is dependent on the removed object in the parent. In inline edit mode, we do remove dependent children's, but we warn users about the removed objects if there still is any left. If any child custom fields are required and will be empty due to the changes in parent, we do add an error message to mention that this could not be executed.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Minor fixes
  • Group search in IQL now supports upper case letters in group name
  • It is now possible to select multiple reference types for a referenced custom field
  • You may now choose the user to restrict objects in custom fields. In previous releases it was always the "current user" and now you can also select the "Reporter" of the issue
  • Automation: You may select recipients in the email action from the attributes of the affected object

Before upgrading to Insight 4.4

Upgrading from JIRA 2.x?

For Insight 2.x users, make sure that you upgrade to the latest version of Insight 3.x before upgrading to Insight 4.4 if you are on Insight 2.x.

This is very important for the upgrade process!
