Introducing Bitbucket Data Center and Server 8.1.
In this release, we’ve added deployment and build status information to further enhance the integration with Jira Software Cloud.

DATA CENTER
In 7.14, we enhanced the integration with Jira Software Cloud to send more development information to your Jira Software Cloud. We've made further enhancements to this integration, enabling Bitbucket to send deployment and build information from your integrated CI/CD tools. If you've integrated Bitbucket Data Center with Jira Cloud and your OAuth credentials have permissions to Builds and Deployments, you can now view the status of your builds and deployments in your Jira issues.
You can also now view the OAuth credentials permissions list of your Jira Software Cloud integration in Bitbucket and refresh them to see the most recent edits.

Before you upgrade to 8.1
SERVER DATA CENTER
H2 database migration requirement
To achieve improved processing speeds, we’ve upgraded the H2 database to version 1.4.200 as it supports multithreading. Version 1.4.200 of H2 doesn’t support the PageStore format – if you’re upgrading from a version lower than 8.0 and using a H2 database for a Bitbucket Mirror or Server, you’ll need to migrate the on-disk database file to the MvStore format. Updates to supported platforms
Bitbucket 8.1 now includes support for running:
- OpenSearch 1.3
- Amazon OpenSearch Service 1.2
