Require Jira issues in commit messages
DATA CENTER
When adding Jira issues to commit messages, Bitbucket and Jira can help you track work from development to production. The new Jira commit checker ensures that commits include Jira issues and it’s built directly into the Bitbucket Data Center Project and Repository settings. Admins can easily configure and set requirements for verifying Jira issues exist in every commit pushed to a repository.

View whitespace characters in the diff
DATA CENTER SERVER
You can now view whitespace characters in both the unified and side-by-side diff. Go ahead and see for yourself over in the Diff view settings.
What else is new?
Admins can now change the default behavior for automatically declining inactive pull requests. Control whether or not the setting is enabled by default without removing the availability of the feature. Also, modify the default inactivity period.
We’ve added the ability to create a pull request description template at the repository level. Learn more about Pull request description templates.
You can now schedule regular exports from the data pipeline screen. You can choose to export as frequently or as infrequently as you need. Learn more about the data pipeline.

Updates to supported platforms
