Bitbucket Data Center and Server 7.18 release notes
09 November 2021
Introducing Bitbucket Data Center 7.18.
View deployment information in Bitbucket
You can now see where your code is deployed on pull requests and commits without having to go and check in your deployment tool.
- For the upcoming Bamboo 8.1 release, deployment projects will automatically send deployment information to Bitbucket Data Center.
- For the upcoming Jenkins 3.1 release, this is implemented as a post-build action for Freestyle jobs. For Pipeline and Multibranch Pipeline jobs, it's implemented as a wrapper step.
- If you're using other integration tools, this can be done via the deployment status API.
For details on setting up the Bamboo and Jenkins integration plugin and to take advantage of seeing your deployments in Bitbucket, see View deployment information in Bitbucket.
HTTP access tokens for projects and repositories
When you create a personal HTTP access token, it's tied to your user account. Admins can now create HTTP access tokens for teams working on specific projects and repositories that aren't fixed to user accounts. Create and manage them from the Project and Repository settings.
We've also renamed the Personal access tokens page in your Bitbucket Account to HTTP access tokens for consistency and clarity.
For more information, see HTTP access tokens.
Updates to supported platforms
Bitbucket 7.18 now includes support for running:
- MariaDB 10.5 and 10.6
As of Bitbucket Data Center 8.0, support will be removed for the following:
- PostgreSQL 9.6
- SQL Server 2012
- Oracle 12c R1
- MariaDB 10.2
