Earliest start date
The earliest start guarantees that an item is not scheduled before a defined date, even if it has higher priority relative to other work items, or there are free resources.

Hiding issues on commit
Issues can disappear upon committing because they don’t match the filter query of the board. In order to make them show up click on the message and set the required values on your issues so they show up again.
