Edit dates for future sprints in Jira
The ability to edit dates for future sprints is now available with the release of Jira Software 8.8. In addition to planning future work, you now have control to set specific start and end dates, allowing you to put space between sprints, or change the duration of a sprint.
For example, in both Jira and Portfolio for Jira, sprints are arranged consecutively in 2-week intervals by default. But what if you need the occasional 3-week sprint, or a 6-week sprint? Or maybe you want your roadmap to show a 1-week break between the end of one sprint and the start of the next. All of these scenarios are now possible.
