Insight 2.22 ships with ability to filter objects shown in custom fields.

Filter on attribute values

You may set an simple IQL (Insight Query Language) where you may filter on attribute values like: Status != "Out of stock".

ServiceDesk configuration on custom fields

JIRA ServiceDesk do not support third party custom fields and we have been working hard to integrate Insight with JIRA ServiceDesk. Because of this limitation we can't provide all the functionality that we would like to. One limitation is that Insight Custom Fields are not shown on the customer portal issue by default, but we have built a way to show them. In this release you may hide Insight custom fields from the custom issue details, it should be the ones you want to be internally and not to be exposed via the custom portal.

This specific configuration may be removed in future releases when JIRA Service Desk has an open API to fetch this information, or third party custom field support.

Minor bugfixes has been implemented

  • JQL function attributeInValue had a bug on attributes of type "object".
  • Read only Insight custom fields where in some cases cleared when issue was updated.
  • Filter on "Between dates" fix.
  • UI fixes when using the object links gives intermittent results.
  • User avatars in mentions fix
  • REST-API improvements.
