Planned changes

In this section we'll provide an overview of the changes we intend to make, so you can start thinking how it might impact your app. We'll indicate when a change has been implemented, and in which milestone.

Rebuild the search index in a cluster

Status: COMPLETE

We're making some improvements to the way you rebuild the search index in a cluster. Once the reindex is complete on one node, we'll propagate that index to all the other nodes in the cluster automatically. A new UI will let you see exactly where the process is up to.

We're still working on this one, and will provide more information at a later date.

Editor TinyMCE upgrade

Status:  COMPLETE

We’re in the process of upgrading the Confluence editor from TinyMCE 4 to TinyMCE 5, and we hope to ship the upgraded editor in Confluence 7.7. Besides bug fixes, there will be no impact to end-users.

We’ll keep you updated throughout the process. Below is a special milestone with the upgraded TinyMCE 5 editor enabled, and information about editor API deprecations.

Webhooks

Status:  COMPLETE

Webhoooks are now officially supported, and we've added a new UI for registering and monitoring your webhoooks.  Webhooks are available for both Server and Data Center.

In this section we'll provide details of changes we have implemented, organised by the milestone they are first available in. This will help you decide which milestone to use when testing.
