Jira Align - Jira Connector pages do not load completely
Problem
When accessing the Jira Settings or Jira Management pages, only the top of the page loads. Most of the page is white space. The "Connector" dropdown is empty.
Some users are able to view the entire page and some experience this problem.
Diagnosis
A connector must be selected in order for the entire page to load. No connectors appear in the dropdown because the user does not have permission to access any connectors.
- Have a user who is able to see connectors check the following:
- On the Jira Settings page, select the Jira Connectors button in the upper right. This opens a popup
- Make sure a connector is selected at the top of the popup
- Look for the "Admins" field
- If the field has any usernames then the connector is restricted to those users
- If the field is empty then the connector is not restricted
Resolution
Add the user as an admin or remove all admins so that the connector is not restricted.
- Removing all admins from a connector will make the connector visible to users with the ability to access the Jira Settings and Jira Management pages.
- This does not change a users ability to access the pages. Access to these pages is based on the user's role permissions.
