Team Calendars 5.2 Release Notes

Reminders have arrived in Team Calendars 5.2! We've had a lot of requests for this feature – 236 votes at last count – and we're excited to release it into the wild.

Team Calendars 5.2 is only available for people using Confluence Cloud at this time. We expect to make it available to Confluence Server users shortly.
Set event type reminders
You can now set reminders for each event type in a calendar, ensuring your team is reminded of important upcoming events. Once you set reminders, anyone who's added the calendar to their 'My Calendars' view will receive an email at your chosen reminder time. From a reminder email you can click to view the event, or turn off reminders for the event type if you don't want to receive them.
JIRA event types don't support reminders at the moment, but we hope to add this functionality in the near future.
Confluence 5.3 Required
Team Calendars 5.2 requires Confluence 5.3 or higher. See the Team Calendars Support Matrix for more information.
Upgrading to Team Calendars 5.2
Before completing this update process, we recommend you back up your Confluence database (which includes Team Calendars data).
In Confluence:
- Choose > Add-ons
- Choose Update to the right of the Team Calendars entry
If you encounter any problems in the update process, you can downgrade by installing the version of Team Calendars you were running previously (also available from the Marketplace).
