Here’s some important information you should know about before upgrading.
Deprecation of the server-local artifact handler
The server-local artifact handler has been deprecated in Bamboo 8.1. Support for this artifact handler will be removed in the next Bamboo release.
Changes to supported platforms

End-of-support announcements
This release of Bamboo removes or deprecates support to the following platforms:
Operating systems
- Removed support for Solaris and macOS/OS X on server
- Deprecated support for Solaris on agents
Databases
- Removed support for MySQL 5.6.3
- Removed support for PostgreSQL 9.6
- Removed support for SQL Server 2016
New supported platforms
This release of Bamboo doesn't add support for any new software platforms.
