Jira Software release notes

From 15 February 2023 you won’t be able to log in to confluence.atlassian.com, watch pages, or be notified about pages you’re watching.

To continue getting updates when new Jira Software versions are available, head to Developer Community and subscribe to the Jira Data Center announcements category.

Jira Software release notes provide information on the features and improvements in each release. This page includes release notes for platform releases and feature releases (you'll find bug fix release notes after opening one of the versions below).

Too many release notes? Take a look at our Upgrade matrix to get a quick roll-up of the most important changes in the latest versions.

Upcoming bug fix releases

Our bug fix releases follow a predefined, monthly schedule. This makes it easier for you to plan your next upgrade. New bug fix versions are released for three Jira feature versions: Latest version, Jira 9.12 LTS, and 9.4 LTS. We may occasionally skip a bug fix release if it isn’t needed. All bug fix releases include security and regular bug fixes.
