JIRA Core 7.5.x release notes

The Atlassian JIRA Core team is proud to announce the release of JIRA Core 7.5.
In this release, we've been working on a few minor tweaks, and we've been busy fixing bugs to improve the overall experience with JIRA Core.
We can't keep improving JIRA Core without your comments and suggestions, so please feel free to send them directly to us in our JIRA instance.

Events for linked issues
Long awaited, events for creating and deleting issue links are finally here. You can use them while building your plugins, or to create webhooks to get informed about changes to your issue links. The new events are IssueLinkCreatedEvent and IssueLinkDeletedEvent. To create webhooks, use the issuelink_created and issuelink_deleted categories. Read more
Syntax highlighting for new languages
We've added syntax highlighting for 25 more languages. Whether it's python, C++, or Ruby you're writing in, we'll help you make it more visible. The highlighting works for any field that uses a text editor.
