The Atlassian Crowd team is delighted to present Crowd 2.2.4. This release is a recommended upgrade which dramatically improves synchronization performance with LDAP and Crowd directories.

That's up to an 8x performance improvement!

Other notable bug fixes include:

  • Changing the behavior for automatic group membership assignment from every successful authentication, to the first successful authentication. This allows administrators to remove group memberships for the automatically assigned memberships after they have been granted.
  • User search via the UI now correctly filters active/inactive users.

(info) Crowd 2.2.3 was an internal release.
