Use queues in the mobile app

To ensure a great mobile experience for agents everywhere, we’ve added support for queues. When the list of requests gets long, queues come to the rescue, giving your team full control over when and how they resolve issues.

Faster background processing

New default processor

We’ve enabled a new improved processor that’s more resilient and cluster-efficient. It has been available in Jira Service Management since version 4.9.0 as an experimental feature, and after testing and stabilization, we're now releasing it as the default processor.

Better event processing

Starting from this release, Jira Service Management’s asynchronous processors won't enqueue non-JSM issue events anymore, as suggested by this issue. This will decrease the pressure on the event processing on instances with mixed Jira Service Management/Jira Software/Jira Core projects, speeding up the processing of SLAs, automation, and notifications.

The following features live in the Jira platform, which means they’re available for the whole Jira family—Jira Core, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.

Project picker search improvements

We’ve improved search performance in the project picker. The project picker now queries the backend as you type, returning only matching results. Empty queries or whitespaces are ignored.

Improved gadget configuration experience

The Statistic type, X axis, and Y axis fields in the configuration of the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics, Pie Chart, and Issue Statistics gadgets now support autocompletion and the choices are sorted alphabetically.
