Preparing for Confluence 6.15
This documentation is intended for Confluence developers who want to ensure that their existing plugins and apps are compatible with Confluence 6.15.
We plan to release weekly milestones during the development of Confluence 6.15. Watch this page to find out when a new milestone is available and what’s changed. We will publish formal release notes once we release a beta.

Changes in Confluence 6.15
Release Candidate 1 - 6 March 2019
As updated last week, we've decided to roll back the change that would automatically copy page restrictions when you copy a single page.
Also, we've made a change to require any URLs shared via the Share a Link blueprint to be whitelisted. This is to prevent a user accidentally or maliciously sharing a link that may pose a threat to the site.
Beta 2 - 27 February 2019
React now bundled with Confluence
We now bundle React@16.8.1 and React-DOM@16.8.1 with Confluence as AMD modules, but don’t load them by default.
If you want to use React for your app, you should declare dependency on the following web-resources to reduce the page weights:
The latest version of the search plugin can't be installed in previous Confluence versions (6.14 or earlier).
Copy a page and its restrictions
When you copy a single page, its restrictions are now automatically copied too. Restrictions can be removed in the editor before publishing.
UPDATE: we've discovered some problems with this change, and will be rolling it back in the release candidate.
Translations not available for Backup and Restore yet
We've made a lot of changes to the backup and restore screen, and will have translations available for these changes very soon. If you'd like a look at the changes, switch your profile language to English UK.
New CQL space category filter
We've added a new space category filter to the search panel, which allows users to restrict their search to a particular space category.
